How to Thrive During Your Field Experiences

Having read the article "How to Thrive During Your Field Experiences," I have assessed what will be the easiest and the hardest things for me in my field-site experiences.

Easiest:

The easiest for me to perform will be professionalism.

  •  I believe professionalism in your work attire is very important because it establishes a professional relationship.
  • Proper attire makes you look like you are qualified to perform your job.
  • Late arrivals will never be a problem for me because being late gives me a very unsettling feeling.

Hardest:

The hardest for me will be reflection.

  • The awkwardness of having to record myself then go back and watch myself will be very uncomfortable at first, but hopefully after many trial and errors I will adjust.

Nerves:

What makes me most nervous about my field-site, is getting up in front of my class and freezing. Stage fright has always affected me, but when I get comfortable around a group the fear goes away.
